Global IT Outage — 19th July 2024

The NHS are experiencing nationwide IT issues with some practices unable to access clinical systems and manage appointments, clinical records, prescriptions etc. This means some NHS services will be slower to respond than usual.

If your Practice is affected:

Appointments: Patients should attend appointments unless told otherwise. If you have urgent health needs visit 111.nhs.uk or phone 111.

Emergency Care: For urgent medical issues, please use 111.nhs.uk  or visit your nearest urgent care centre or contact emergency services. There is currently no known impact on 999 or emergency services, so people should use these services as they usually would, especially in emergency and life-threatening cases when someone is seriously ill or injured, or their life is at risk.

Minor illness: Please check your local Pharmacy: Find a pharmacy in your area.

Support and Assistance: The national team is working diligently to resolve the issue as quickly as possible.
