Getting Here

Appointments are held either at your GP surgery, our offices at Chantry House or at Andover Mind. You will be informed of the location at the time of booking.

If you are coming to Chantry House within the Chantry Centre, you can find us opposite Boots the chemist, through the blue doors. We are on level 2 which can be accessed via the lifts or stairs.

Preparing for your appointment

You are not expected to bring anything, however some people find it helpful to prepare what they would like to discuss in the appointment.

You’re welcome to bring pen and paper to make notes.

At your first appointment, we will ask you to fill in a brief questionnaire about your wellbeing.

What will happen in my appointment?

Your appointment may last up to 45 minutes.

Your practitioner will take time to listen and discuss how we can best support you to move forward.

This could lead to a referral to another member of our team or a more appropriate service that would best suit your circumstances.

What will happen after my appointment?

We recognise that everyone will have different needs, so there may be a range of options we can offer:

  1. A follow up appointment may be arranged between you and your practitioner.
*We are generally able to offer up to 6 sessions depending on your   needs and goals.
  2. A referral to a more appropriate service may be helpful in supporting.
*If we do agree another service is more appropriate, we will help you make you with the referral process and offer a follow up check in to make sure the support is in place.
