A third COVID-19 vaccine, made by Moderna, has been approved for use in the UK. The UK has pre-ordered 17 million doses, though supplies are not expected until the spring.

On January 7, NHS England and NHS Improvement wrote to primary care about national support to free up GPs, practice teams and PCNs to advance the vaccine rollout.
